Our Philosophy
We believe people go to salons to look a certain way, but people come to Urban Texture Hair Studio to FEEL a certain way. We all understand how important it is to feel relaxed during your time with us, which is why our studio offers a luxury, professional service while still providing that coffee (or cocktail) with friends feeling, every time you’re with us!
We do it all, but we specialize in longer hair, balayage, blonding and soft lived in looks that last and continue to look amazing between visits.

We strive to carry as many gluten free, paraben free, sulfate free, and cruelty free products as we can. Laurie personally tests every single product that we stock on our shelves before she will even consider offering it to our guests to ensure it performs well.
Most of the products we stock are “free from” lines or organic and naturally sourced from Canadian owned companies. So not only are you protecting your investment in your hair you are also supporting the Canadian economy. AND… PS we also have a rewards points system to encourage you to shop local.
